With expansion into 4–5 new regions underway, we're looking for motivated Labourers and Site Assistants to join our crews and grow with us.
The Role
As a Labourer / Site Assistant, you'll support your Site Lead on a variety of outdoor builds no two days are the same.
You'll help construct fences, decks, and retaining walls, keeping projects running smoothly and maintaining the Farnell standard of quality.
You'll
Assist with day-to-day site work including digging post holes, mixing concrete, and installing posts, rails, panels, and decking.
Load and unload materials; keep the site tidy and organised.
Operate hand tools and basic power tools (training provided).
Follow instructions from your Site Lead and work safely at all times.
Help with site setup and pack-down, ensuring efficient workflow.
Work outdoors in all conditions; it's physical, hands-on work.
Have opportunities to learn and develop new skills on the job.
What We're Looking For
A great attitude : reliable, motivated, and keen to learn.
Physically fit and able to handle manual labour.
Enjoys working outdoors and being part of a tight-knit team.
Takes pride in doing things properly and seeing a job through.
Some experience in construction, fencing, or landscaping is a bonus (but not required).
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Reliable transport to and from site (driver's licence preferred).
