Do you have a passion for guiding people back into meaningful employment after illness or injury? Our Palmerston North clinic is looking for a Vocational Consultant, who will combine their clinical expertise with problem-solving skills to assess abilities, design tailored rehabilitation and return-to-work plans, and support clients to reach their full potential. You'll work closely with employers, healthcare providers and ACC to create safe, sustainable outcomes — making a real difference in people's lives every day. You will have a mixture of face-to-face and telehealth appointments working primarily on ACC work with the option of ACC work in the future. This is a part-time role (2.5 days) however, full-time would be considered for the right candidate.

You must have CDANZ membership to be eligible for this role.

Main responsibilities :

• Handle claims, reporting to ACC with a sense of urgency
• Carry out career competencies assessments for rehabilitation clients
• Create action plans for career change / development
• Ensure physical rehabilitation needs are prioritised and put in place
