Nursery Person

Nudo Ltd is a growing, vibrant herb brand that is building on the company's history of strong local and national provision of Herbs. We are seeking an exceptional Nursery person toi joion our busy team. The ideal person will have the following relevant work experience of at least three years in the horticulural industry or a relevant qualification in Horticulture.

Main Duties will be;

• Planting, pruning, picking product, selection of plants
• Preparation of potting and containers for plantation
• Spraying of plants to protect them from disease and insects, under supervision.
• Hand weeding and spraying weed control as needed, under supervision. With the ability to gain a spray certification.
• Ability to operate hydroponic system.
• Fertigation, nutritional and environmental control of plants
• Selection of seeds and cuttings for plantation
• Watering and propagation of plants
• Preparing outside seedling trays and ready for seeds for all season
• Keep records of soil mixtures, planting times, treatment and losses
• Operate horticultural machinery as per job requirements.
• Practice excellent communication with staff and customers
• Perform any other tasks requested by the employer

You will be working approximately 30-40 hours per week. You will be working Monday to Friday with some weekend work required.
