Qualifications
Ko wai koe - About you :
Eligible to enter the CCP Internship programme
Current Registration and Annual Practicing Certificate (APC) from Te Kaunihera Manapou Paramedic Council (or evidence of submission made)
Excellent operational and clinical performance to date
Excellent interpersonal skills with a strong customer focus
A genuine commitment to the wellbeing of others
The ability to work under pressure
The ability to attend all clinical support and clinical assessment days
Demonstrate behaviours that align with Hato Hone St John's core values- Do the right thing (Mahi Tika), Side by Side (Tū Tahi), Straight Up (Mahi Pono), Make it better (Whakapai Ake), Open Minds (Whakaaro Nui)
Pre-Entry Criteria
Full completion of the Post Graduate Diploma in health science (with a focus on Critical Care Paramedicine PARA802 Resuscitation Physiology and PARA806 Advanced Resuscitation).
Be successful in a Pre-entry interview with a deputy Clinical Director, GM Ambulance Operations - Emergency Ambulance Service, and a Clinical Team Manager. This Interview will include a deep dive into clinical practice, past clinical incidents, conduct, leadership, and suitability.
Manager endorsement from your AOM / DOM.
You must have a minimum of 2 years consolidation at Paramedic ATP in a high volume workload area.
