- About the role
- The store person will receive and accurately pick and pack inventory items for order fulfillment.You will conduct cycle counts and participate in stock takes, rotate inventory to prevent obsolescence and securely pack items for dispatch.
- Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to) the following :
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming goods to store
- Ensuring proper storage, handling techniques and methods are followed
- Pick, pack and prepare orders for distribution to hospitals and healthcare facilities
- Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, stock movements and expiration dates
- Replenishment of goods into store following all guidelines
- Perform regular inventory cycle counts and audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards
- Operate equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks, safely and efficiently
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to fulfil urgent or special requests for medical supplies and consumables
- Assist in the disposal of expired and or damaged inventory in accordance with organisational policies and guidelines
