We are seeking a friendly, dynamic, committed teacher with a passion for teaching, to join our hardworking team and friendly community.

Awakeri School has a roll of around 340 and is about 10 minutes out of Whakatane in the beautiful Eastern Bay of Plenty.

Level to be confirmed, please state your preference, from Y1 to Y6.

You must have a positive attitude and be willing to go the extra mile for our students.

Our school has high expectations for staff and students and our school motto, 'Be the best you can be' underlies everything we do.

We offer an inclusive, positive learning environment and we are implementing high impact teaching practices (explicit direct instruction) across all levels of the school.

Experience in using Prime Maths and / or Numicon is desirable.
