About the Role
As a Medical laboratory scientist, you will have the opportunity to work across all areas of the Histology laboratory supporting the daily workload demands of the department including but not limited to.
About the Team / Service / Location
The Histology department is situated on-site at the Middlemore campus and provides a Histology and NonGynaecological Cytology Service for Health NZ, Counties Manukau District. The Histology department is involved in teaching scientific / technical and medical staff.
The position is part time (0.65 FTE) and you will be required to work collaboratively across all areas of the department alongside a dedicated team of Technicians, Scientists, Technical Specialists, Section Heads, Registrars and Consultant Pathologists to deliver a high-quality Histology service.
