Wa Ora Montessori School is an Area School based in Lower Hutt, Wellington, that caters for approximately 300 children and is the only Montessori School in New Zealand that nurtures the child from 0 to 18 years.

We are a community-based school with close connections to our whanau (families).

We are seeking a fixed term part-time FTTE 0.24 generalist teacher to join our friendly and collaborative staffing team.

Hours of work are Fridays 8.30am to 4pm, including 5 hours contact time, 1 hour advisory and 1.5 hours non-contact time.

Start date is 28th January

• with school beginning on Monday 2nd February
• and is fixed term until the end of the school year, Friday 11th December

The position is fixed term as you will be covering for medical leave.

You must have current New Zealand teacher registration and have the legal right to work in New Zealand.
