Avalon Intermediate School is seeking Scale A teachers for 2026.

We believe all students have amazing potential and support young people to achieve success in all its forms.

We are looking for NZ registered teachers who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of early adolescents and celebrate the many cultures and personalities that make up our school. They will build strong relationships with our young people and use planning and assessment effectively to ensure all students make progress.

The ideal candidate will be highly collaborative and be able to share their own talents and skills across the school, while building on their colleagues' good practice. They will join a positive, enthusiastic team who are supportive and enjoy a sense of humour.
