Salary :   $59,035 - $85,992

Kōrero mō te tūranga – About the role

This position is part of the inpatient physiotherapy team, based on the Older Persons and Rehabilitation ward. It is the opportunity to be part of a great team of physiotherapists and to work closely with a wider multidisciplinary team. We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated physiotherapist with experience and an interest in inpatient rehabilitation and management of the complex older adult. If you have excellent clinical skills and the ability to work effectively and collaboratively as part of a team, then this may be the position for you. This is a permanent, fulltime position, 40 hours per week.

Mō tō mātou rōpū – About our team

The Physiotherapy Department at Hutt Hospital provides physiotherapy services to patients / clients within the hospital and primary care setting. Services are provided on all of the inpatient wards including Medical Assessment and Planning Unit (MAPU) and Emergency Department (ED). Outpatient services are provided within the hospital or based in GP clinics.

Moū – About you

  • Registration with the NZ Physiotherapy Board
  • Current Annual Practicing Certificate
  • Clinical experience in a hospital setting
  • Knowledge and an understanding of rehabilitation and the complex older adult
  • The ability to work well as part of a team.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
