Manunui School is a U4 school, just south of Taumarunui in a gorgeous rural setting - a short trip to the World Heritage Tongariro National Park, the ski fields of Mt Ruapehu and the great Lake Taupō.

Due to one of our amazing kaiako moving on at the end of the year, we are excited to offer this opportunity for a fun, energetic and passionate teacher to join both our team and our community for 2026!

This position is to teach our beautiful Y3 class from the beginning of 2026.

The successful applicant will have a knowledge of accelerating progress in literacy, will be able to design engaging, impactful learning opportunities and be comfortable teaching technology.

The right teacher will also have a strength in relationships - being able to meaningfully connect with tamariki, whānau and colleagues is essential.

Applicants need a collaborative mindset, to be reflective and be willing to grow their practice.
