Clinical Midwife Manager

The Community Midwifery Service based at Kerrs Road, is looking for a Clinical Midwife Manager to join the team!

Our community midwifery management team requires a highly motivated clinical leader to work collaboratively, with their team-leading colleagues and the Midwife Manager to deliver a high standard of midwifery care to women and babies in South Auckland. We are looking for an enthusiastic, highly experienced and motivated midwife who has a background in delivering clinical care to women experiencing significant challenges during their pregnancies and in the postnatal period. The focus of work in this role will be leading care delivery and planning in the areas of mental health, social complexities such as poverty, homelessness, family violence and child protection as well as with addictions.

We are particularly interested in candidates who have experience in working in and / or evidence of postgraduate study relating to mental well being, family violence or the social determinants of health. Essential :

• NZ Registered Midwife with a current APC
• 5+ years relevant clinical experience
• Proven leadership and / or management experience
