WM is seeking a dedicated Operations Supervisor to help lead one of our high-performing sites.

About the Role As an Operations Supervisor, you'll ensure day-to-day operations run smoothly, safely, and efficiently while supporting your team to deliver exceptional service.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, your responsibilities will include supervising staff, managing rosters, coordinating work, and overseeing minor maintenance tasks.
You'll also play a key role in driving continuous improvement, cost efficiency, and site safety.
This role is ideal for someone with a mechanical mindset, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to teamwork and sustainability.
Key Responsibilities Lead and support your team to deliver safe, efficient, and high-quality operations.
Conduct toolbox talks, safety meetings, and champion a safety-first culture.
Prepare daily rosters, allocate tasks, and ensure work is completed accurately and on time.
Monitor site operations and equipment, identifying maintenance needs and ensuring follow-up.
Manage day-to-day operational costs and promote cost-conscious practices.
Ensure compliance with company policies, HSEQ standards, and environmental legislation.
Oversee administrative processes including run sheets, pre-starts, and fuel cards.
Maintain site housekeeping and manage contractor inductions.
Qualifications About You You're an experienced operator or emerging leader who takes pride in keeping people and operations running safely and efficiently.
You can balance hands-on work with strong communication and coordination skills.
You'll bring : Supervisory experience or demonstrated ability to lead teams.
Mechanical aptitude and practical equipment knowledge.
Experience in transport, waste, logistics, or recycling (preferred).
Strong communication, teamwork, and time management skills.
Knowledge of HSEQ standards and environmental legislation.
