Recycling factory 2IC

Our Penrose client is seeking an experienced supervisor as 2IC in a large recycling business

We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced leader to join our client's well established and growing team in Penrose, as a factory 2IC.

This role reports to the site manager and has a wide range of responsibilities.

This position is a full-time temp role that will develop into a permanent position for the right candidate.

With a growing workload, expanding team and challenges, this role will offer diversity and new challenges every day. The right candidate has the opportunity to move into a Factory Manager position over time.

Duties include-

Day to day operations of factory

Staff supervision / management / rostering

Troubleshooting production line

Driving forklift / loader as needed (forklift cert / WTR endorsements helpful but not required)

Hands on sort line work as needed

Fantastic communication both via phone and email (must have a working phone that you answer and use)

Computer literate

Able to resolve issues independently once trained

We are looking for someone who can solve problems, show leadership, and work with a team in an all rounder factory supervision role. You'll have a couple of years of supervisory experience already, and be looking for your next challenge.

Houly rate $30-35

6am - 2.30pm Mon to Fri (with extra hours as required)

You must be in NZ with the right to work indefinitely. Youll need transport as its an early start. You need to pass drug / alcohol and police checks, and provide 2 work related references. Immediate start.
