Kōwhai Intermediate is seeking a dynamic and dedicated registered Kaiako, proficient in Te Reo Māori me ōna tikanga to lead and inspire within our bilingual learning space, Te Māpura. This teaching role supports the continued growth and success of Te Māpura, our Level 3 Te Reo Māori programme. Currently in its second successful year, we are ready to continue this positive journey with a kaiako who embraces challenge and innovation.

Our ideal kaiako will :

• Possess the sound knowledge of bilingual education required to teach across Level 3 to Level 1 Māori Immersion.
• Demonstrate the confidence and expertise to lead a vibrant immersion classroom.
• Be ready to take on a new and deeply rewarding professional challenge.
• Have a great sense of humour.
