Based in Palmerston North, we serve communities across the Manawatu, Tararua, Horowhenua and Rangitikei / Taihape regions.

Every year, thousands of people benefit from our free services, made possible through a combination of public health funding and the generosity of local supporters.

We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate

Healthcare Assistant

to join our Inpatient Unit team on a permanent, part-time basis.

This role involves working rostered shifts across our 24 / 7 service, contributing to a collaborative and patient-focused environment.

What you'll bring :

A calm, caring and adaptable approach, even under pressure

Confidence in using your initiative while working within a supportive team

Digital literacy, with experience in patient management systems

Excellent communication skills and a collaborative spirit

A deep commitment to person-centred care and our organisational values

Ideally, you will also have :

Experience in aged care, elder health, or similar care settings

A Level 4 qualification in Health & Wellbeing (or be willing to work towards one)

The ability to work safely and effectively under the delegation of a Registered Nurse
