Excavator / Machinery Operator – Civil Division

About T8 Group : T8 Group delivers integrated civil, traffic, and vegetation services across Northland. As we expand our civil division, we’re looking for a reliable and experienced Excavator / Machinery Operator to join our team and support the delivery of high-quality infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities : Operate excavators, skid steers, rollers, and other machinery safely and efficiently Perform daily checks and basic maintenance on equipment Assist with groundworks and labouring tasks when required Follow site safety protocols and contribute to a positive team culture Communicate effectively with site supervisors and crew members

Requirements : Proven experience operating civil machinery WTR endorsement and Class 2 licence (Class 4 a bonus) Strong understanding of site safety and machinery operation Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented Willingness to travel to various sites and work flexible hours
