Science Teacher – Part‑time, Fixed Term

An exciting opportunity to join Awatapu College’s Science Department. The successful candidate will be a New Zealand registered teacher, able to deliver senior secondary science subjects and participate in our extensive co‑curricular programme.

Responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess senior secondary science lessons for Years 10–15.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to integrate science across the curriculum.
• Support students’ learning and wellbeing through co‑curricular activities.
• Maintain accurate records and contribute to departmental meetings.
