We're looking for a
Trainee Arable Representative
to join our Arable Team
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and passionate individual to begin a career in the arable industry, working alongside experienced Arable Representatives to learn every aspect of seed production and grower engagement.
You'll start with initial training at our Kimihia Research Centre in Lincoln, followed by time in the field with our Arable Representatives across the Canterbury region.
The role offers hands-on learning across the full seed production cycle of our contracted crops. You'll be supporting Arable Representatives with contracting and procurement, coordinating grower requirements, building strong relationships, and learning the full seed production process from crop monitoring through to harvest logistics and quality management.
To be successful in this role you will possess the following skills and attributes :
Motivation and drive to learn, grow, and succeed in the arable sector.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
Excellent organisation and time management.
Sound computer literacy (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook).
A tertiary qualification in agriculture or a related field is advantageous.
A genuine interest in pursuing a long-term career in seed production and agronomy.
