Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) supports thousands of families every year, keeping them together and close to the care their child needs. Each year, thousands of whānau rely on RMHC to provide a place of comfort, connection and support during some of their toughest times.

At the heart of this organisation is a mission of compassion, and at its helm, we now seek a Chief Executive who can pair strong commercial leadership with a genuine commitment to our community.

Reporting to the Board of Trustees, the Chief Executive is responsible for leading RMHC New Zealand into its next chapter of impact and growth. This role will suit an experienced leader who can confidently steer a complex charitable organisation while working seamlessly across global, national and local networks.

Key responsibilities include :

• Inspiring and developing a dedicated team of staff and volunteers.
• Championing an organisational culture that is inclusive, high-performing, and values-driven.
• Creating revenue growth through new commercial initiatives, partnerships, campaigns, and donor engagement.
• Building strong connections with our key partners including McDonald’s franchisees, philanthropists, mana whenua, funders, and RMHC Global.
• Ensuring sound financial stewardship, risk management, and delivery against long-term strategy.
• Representing RMHC as the visible voice and advocate for families, stakeholders, and communities.
