About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team in Auckland. This is a full-time, permanent position, offering a minimum of 30 hours per week, with work hours generally between 7 : 00 a.m. and 4 : 00 p.m., depending on project requirements. Weekend or public holiday work may occasionally be required during busy periods.  The remuneration of the position will be between $29 - $35 per hour, depending on skills and experience.

Key Responsibilities :

• Read and interpret construction drawings to determine materials, dimensions, and installation methods.
• Measure, cut, and assemble timber, plywood, and other materials for construction and civil works.
• Build and install timber structures to support electrical and civil projects, such as formwork, framing, and enclosures.
• Construct and install formwork for concrete foundations, pits, and cable trenches.
• Fit and secure doors, windows, roofing, and wall panels where required.
• Repair and maintain existing timber and formwork structures.
• Work with other materials such as metal and plastic laminates when needed.
• Follow health and safety standards and coordinate with other site teams to complete work efficiently.
