Guest Service Agent - Food & Beverage (Part Time)

ANew Zealand-owned and operated hotel in Auckland Airport Precinct is looking for part-time Guest Service Agents who are passionate about interacting with guests, serving food and beverages, and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

If you enjoy a varied and busy shift, have energy to spare, and are keen to refine your hospitality skills, this role is for you!

As a Guest Service Agent, you will be responsible for serving guests in the hotel's restaurant and bar area, as well as assisting in the conference center with events and functions.

Key responsibilities :

Serving food and drinks

Taking orders and clearing tables

Serving at the bar and handling room-service orders

Providing excellent customer service to ensure guest satisfaction

The employer is looking for team members who have experience working in a restaurant with

à la carte service

You should be highly attentive to detail, reliable, well-presented, and eager to learn.

You must also be hardworking and physically able to handle a role where you'll be on your feet throughout the day.

Schedule :

Mon - Sun : Minimum of 3 rostered shifts / week.

Shift can be between 4 to 6 hours per day.

PM shifts - 3pm to 11pm

Breakfast shift - starting at 5am – finishing around midday or depends on the day.

Requirements :

Must have previous experience in a restaurant with à la carte service.

Fast food experience is not enough.

Must pass a Ministry of Justice (MOJ) check and drug test.

A full driver's license is preferred as you'll be starting early or finishing late.

Must be physically fit, as you'll be on your feet for most of the day.

Must be flexible to pick up other shifts to cover for annual or sick leaves.

It would be a bonus if you have a

Liquor License

and

GM Certificate

Must have reliable transport to get to and from work.

Only applicants with a valid work visa, NZ citizenship, or residency will be considered for employment.
