Foundation Carpenter

We are looking for an apprentice to work with our team in foundation concrete work.

We specialise in foundation and block work, primarily for retirement villages and some housing projects across New Zealand.

Many of our projects are located outside of Auckland, including Whangarei and Hamilton.

The work involves forming and organising the concrete pour, and as such, is heavily weather-dependent as it involves outdoor structural tasks.

Responsibilities

Perform formwork (boxing) and coordinate concrete pumping to pour concrete.

Wait for the concrete to set and solidify into slabs, allowing the next team to begin carpentry work.

Work is typically done independently, especially for those with relevant experience.

Requirements

Part-time Role : Flexible pay rate, starting at a training rate depending on experience.

The current minimum wage for the training program is $

• per day.

You will be supervised by a registered surveyor and two directors of the firm.
