We are looking for someone who is friendly, conscientious, enthusiastic, and reliable. Every shift will be varied, so you need the ability to prioritise effectively, multi-task, and have a willingness to provide exceptional client service every time.

About the Role

A regular day might see you greeting our clients and making sure their visit is a positive one, typing reports, organising stationery and office supplies, maintaining the filing room, and ensuring the office is running smoothly. There will be plenty of opportunities to use your skills and experience and to build new ones.

Responsibilities

  • Answer incoming phone calls to the practice.
  • Greet and meet clients and other visitors to the office.
  • Provide support to the administration team.
  • Type newsletters, flyers, and reports as requested.
  • File documents both physically and electronically.
  • Perform administrative tasks, including company maintenance and preparing financial statements documentation.
  • Manage other daily administrative tasks, liaising closely with other staff as required.
  • Order stationery and office supplies.

Specific Requirements

  • Microsoft Office skills.
  • Pleasant and friendly phone manner.
  • Know your way around technology and be a fast learner.
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a small team.
  • Demonstrated ability to use initiative, multi-task, and meet deadlines.
  • Good attention to detail and a can-do attitude.
  • Current driver’s licence.
  • Ability to work 40 hours per week — 8.30am to 5.30pm, Monday to Friday.
  • NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa.
