Lowie Recruitment is seeking a highly experienced and confident Forklift Driver / Freight Checker to join our client’s team in Hornby, Christchurch.

Hours :

Monday : 6 : 00 AM – 2 : 30 PM
Tuesday to Friday : 12 : 00 PM – 8 : 00 PM
Saturday : 6 : 00 AM – 12 : 00 PM (finish times may vary)

What we offer :

$25.50 per hour, paid weekly

On-going assignment

Some duties you may be required to do :

Operating a counterbalance forklift to load / unload freight from curtain siders

Accurately checking and recording freight quantities and condition

Ensuring all freight is handled safely and efficiently

Following all health and safety protocols at all times

The ideal candidate will have the following skills :

Proven experience in logistics and forklift operation

High level of confidence and competence operating a counterbalance forklift

Strong attention to detail and accuracy when checking freight

Ability to work varied hours, including evenings and Saturdays

Excellent communication and teamwork skills

You will need to be a NZ Citizen, Permanent Resident or on a valid work visa to apply for a position.
