Three people have high support needs, including dementia, and one person requires some assistance with day-to-day tasks.
Aged care support, medication management and building a strong rapport with the people being supported are key aspects of this role.The people supported here enjoy a vibrant mix of activities—attending cricket and Crusaders rugby games, live music concerts on Sunday afternoons, shopping at the mall or a market, connecting with the person's community in Hohepa and spending time with friends and whanau.
At home, they like to relax together in the lounge, share kai, and catch up on the latest community news.You will be energetic, empathetic and able to work alongsidethis personfocussing on creating a life of rich and diverse experiences while being able to read situations, problem solve and apply boundaries or offer space.
Daily tasks include supporting with daily routines while encouraging independence to develop skills and personal growth.
You will have the confidence to support personal cares, cooking, medication administration, and household tasks.
You will be passionate about supporting and extending people's ability to access and be part of their wider community.
