We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Reservations Team Leader / Manager to join a dynamic team in New Zealand. This permanent, full-time role will involve managing the daily operations of the office, leading a team of travel consultants, and ensuring exceptional service standards.
Key Responsibilities :
- Oversee the daily operations of the office, maintaining high service standards and fostering a positive workplace culture
- Lead and mentor the reservations team, ensuring effective training, development, and performance monitoring
- Manage and coordinate travel reservations, including tailoring itineraries, securing bookings, and handling client inquiries
- Maintain accurate records and reports for team performance, service levels, and bookings
- Ensure compliance with company policies, managing administrative tasks such as office supplies, payroll, and staff onboarding / offboarding
- Participate in hands-on travel consulting and support the team with customer bookings, queries, and issue resolution
Requirements :
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team and ensure operational efficiencyExperience in travel consulting, with hands-on involvement in booking flights, accommodation, and other travel componentsExcellent customer service and communication skillsAbility to meet sales and service targets and contribute to team performanceExperience in HR functions, including payroll and staff managementPrevious experience in the travel industry preferredWhat's in it for you :
