CIAL operates New Zealand's 2nd largest airport, and our success has a direct correlation to the success of our city, region and country.Join our team of 200 and see what difference you can make every day.What you'll be doingSupporting the delivery of our Protection Strategy to enable healthy work where our people can thrive.Coaching and supporting leaders to own health, safety, and wellbeing.Partnering with stakeholders to identify and control critical risks and ensuring reliable and effective risk management.Building confidence in the use of our health and safety systems.Assisting with event learning activities and facilitating risk assessments.Advocating for teams to drive practical improvements that support healthy work.Conducting internal reviews, audits, and observations to support continuous improvement and our assurance programme.Supporting the delivery of wellbeing initiatives across the business.You'll work across diverse business areas and with a range of external delivery partners and contractors.
Your ability to influence, educate, and bring others on the journey will be key to your success.Who we're looking forYou'll bring : A collaborative, professional, and pragmatic approach, with the ability to balance strategic goals and frontline realities to achieve positive outcomes.Proven health and safety experience in complex or high-risk environments such as aviation, construction, operations, or emergency services.Sound knowledge of health and safety management systems and processes.Confidence working in varied situations with a wide range of stakeholders.Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.Ideally, you'll have a relevant H&S qualification (or equivalent experience) and the confidence to influence at all levels of the organisation.In line with our values, we look for friendly people who will represent the airport well, in every interaction with our visitors and customers.
