About the Opportunity The Pacific Islands Forum Fisheries Agency (FFA) is looking for a full-time Human Resources Performance Analyst based in Honiara, Solomon Islands .
This appointment is made on a three-year term and may be renewable for a further three years subject to availability of funds, ongoing need for the position and performance.
Reporting to the Manager Human Resources and Administration , this role supports the implementation of strategic HR initiatives and performance frameworks that align with FFA's organisational goals.
The role plays a key part in driving learning and development, optimising HR systems, and delivering metrics that enhance workforce planning and engagement.
More specifically, your responsibilities include but are not limited to : Supporting the delivery of organisational development initiatives including learning, performance management, and strategic workforce planning Managing and further developing the HR information system (HRIS) and HR data model Leading learning and development strategies to support employee growth and improve agency performance Developing and implementing HR metrics to drive data-informed decision-making across the agency Assisting in workforce planning and forecasting to inform senior leadership strategy Managing the organisation's health insurance policy to ensure compliance, cost-effectiveness, and staff satisfaction The Key Result Areas will include (but not be limited to) : Policy review, development and implementation HR data management and reporting Performance management and organisational development Training and development Workforce planning and reporting Management and administration of the health insurance policy HR unit projects Deputising for the Manager Human Resources and Administration About You To be considered for this position, you will have tertiary qualifications in Human Resources Management or a related field , along with a minimum of seven years' experience administering HR services, policies, and systems in a comparably sized organisation (around 100 staff).
You will also bring : In-depth expertise in learning and development frameworks and their role in staff capability and job performance Strong knowledge of performance management systems and strategic application to drive organisational outcomes Proven experience using HRIS tools and analytics to inform strategic decision-making Understanding of workforce planning practices and strategic review of medium-term results and indicators Experience in multicultural environments with a demonstrated commitment to Gender Equality, Diversity, and Social Inclusion As our ideal candidate, you are highly analytical and people-focused, able to translate HR data into meaningful insights.

About the Benefits This position offers a competitive, tax-free salary of USD $45,228 – $63,685 p.a. , inclusive of location and Cost-of-Living Differential Allowances (COLDA).
Appointments are typically made at 85% of the salary grade, with potential for higher offers based on qualifications and experience.
