We are a Takeaway / Dine in restaurant in Bishopdale and are seeking a Cook who can handle our expanding menu that will involve some Indian Cuisine as well.The role requires you to undertake the following : Assist in planning and developing of menus.Preparing, cooking and presenting high quality dishes within the specialty sectionGuiding and training the kitchen staff and cooks on cooking stylesPreparing meat, vegetable, curries and introduce new cuisineAssisting with the management of health and safetyAssisting with the management of food hygiene practicesManaging and training staffMonitoring portion and waste controlYou are required to have at least 2 years of work experience or a relevant NZQF Diploma qualification.You will be guaranteed 30 hours a week and the minimum wage is $30 and the maximum wage is $31
