Guide / Driver - Biking and Walking Tours

Bike and Walking tour Guide / Driver - Guides are a crucial keystone to ensure our tours run smoothly and each client enjoys the holiday of a lifetime.

You will :

• Have a love of nature and a desire to share your knowledge of New Zealand culture and history.
• Have a sense of humour, positive outlook on life and a respect for health and safety.
• Excellent communication skills, including the ability to co-ordinate groups of up to 12 people.
• Current Workplace First Aid qualification, or the willingness to gain one pre-season.
• Good physical fitness
• Ability to work independently
• Full, clean, current New Zealand drivers’ license with Passenger endorsement (or willingness to gain the ‘P’ endorsement pre-season.)
• Ability to drive fully loaded vehicles with attached bike or luggage trailers confidently and safely on gravel roads.
• An eye for detail and a systematic approach to getting many tasks completed efficiently.
