What is the opportunity?

Conduct sampling and testing of in-process and final products using methods outlined in the Laboratory Manual.

Ensure all laboratory and production line equipment is calibrated, well-maintained, and stocked with necessary consumables.

Participate in batch release processes and support sensory evaluation requirements.

Identify any out-of-specification (OOS) results in relation to relevant Quality Control Points (QCPs), Critical Control Points (CCPs), and final product specifications.

Promptly raise alerts and carry out corrective actions as required.

Shift Information

When you first join our team, you will begin on AM shifts to allow time for training and familiarisation with our processes.

Once fully trained, you will be included in the rotating shift schedule.

We are seeking candidates who are available to work across the following shifts :

AM Shift : 5 : 00 AM – 1 : 30 PM

PM Shift : 1 : 00 PM – 9 : 30 PM

Overnight Shift : 9 : 00 PM – 5 : 30 AM

About you | No hea koe

Has a tertiary degree in Chemistry, Microbiology, Food Science or similar or comparable experience

Previous experience in a lab ideally within an FMCG quality environment

Understanding and experience in control of HACCP and ISO9001 Quality systems and auditing in the food industry is preferred

Highly proactive, pragmatic and solution focused

A continuous improvement mindset – we like to push the status quo
