We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Quality Inspector to join our Quality Inspection team. Reporting to the Quality Inspections Lead, you will ensure quality across all stages of transformer manufacturing — from incoming parts and in-process checks to final product inspections. You’ll play a key role in maintaining high standards, identifying non-conformances, and supporting continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect incoming materials and components to ensure they meet specifications.
  • Monitor manufacturing processes to verify compliance with engineering and quality standards.
  • Perform final checks on finished transformers before dispatch.
  • Identify and report non-conformances, supporting corrective actions.
  • Maintain accurate quality records for traceability and audits.
  • Help improve inspection procedures and quality checklists.
  • Support supplier evaluations, audits, and quality meetings.
  • Analyse inspection data to drive improvements and root cause investigations.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years in quality control or inspection, ideally in industrial manufacturing
  • Strong grasp of manufacturing processes and quality standards
  • Able to read technical drawings and specifications
  • Skilled with inspection tools and measurement techniques
  • Detail-oriented with accurate documentation skills
  • Good communicator and team collaborator
  • Familiar with root cause analysis and quality reporting
  • Comfortable using software for quality tracking and documentation
  • Shows strong accountability, problem-solving skills, and clear communication while working well with others in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in transformer manufacturing or electrical / heavy industry inspection, along with familiarity with IEC / ISO standards and quality practices, is preferred but not essential.
