Electrical Project Engineer

They are seeking an experienced electrical Project Engineer eager to scope, design, and lead impactful projects in the industrial sector.

The Role

As part of a wider engineering team, you will serve as a key contact for clients and stakeholders in the design and delivery of electrical projects across a range of industries.

You will oversee projects through all phases, from initial scoping and detailed design to installation and commissioning.

Taking full ownership of delivery, you will play a vital role in driving projects to completion on time, within budget, and to the highest quality, while building strong relationships with clients and contributing to the growth of the business.

About You

As an experienced engineer, you will have exposure across any (but not limited to) industrial, manufacturing, large infrastructure, medium or High voltage industries.

Furthermore, you will be experienced in

Strong experience in Design and Electrical Engineering

A Bachelor of Engineering degree or equivalent NZ tertiary level diploma

Experience with AutoCAD, AutoCAD Electrical or similar design software

Understanding of electrical, industrial and automation systems, generation / renewable assets or distribution assets.

Experience in project delivery, client engagement and development

Previous people leadership experience is advantageous but not essential
