Ourmultidisciplinary team is committed to improving the quality of life for olderadults by focusing on holistic, compassionate, and evidence-based care.About you : The successful candidate will : Delivering high-quality geriatricmedical care across inpatient, outpatient, and community settings.Join a supportivemultidisciplinary team including occupational therapists,physiotherapists, social workers, and other medical specialities toprovide assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation.Have the opportunity to engagewith the wider clinical community and practice varied, challenging andrewarding geriatric medicine.Collaborating with primary careproviders and other specialists to ensure continuity of care.Participating in serviceimprovement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.Providing mentorship and teachingto junior doctors and allied health staff.Skills and experienceThe preferred applicant will : Hold Fellowship of the RoyalAustralasian College of Physicians or equivalent.Be eligible for an AnnualPractising Certificate and vocational scope of Internal Medicine with theMedical Council of New Zealand.Be passionate, patient, andconsiderate when assessing and treating patients.Be competency with te ao Maori, tikanga, and tereo Maori or a commitment to starting your journey and taking ownership of yourlearning and growth.Have experience in projects / initiatives whichgive effect to Te Tiriti principals and frameworks, and the application ofMatauranga Maori and Kaupapa Maori approaches, particularly as they apply inhealthcare settings.Working for Health New ZealandHealth NZ is - theweaving of wellnesses.
