Kitchen Designer - Mitre 10 Mega Tauranga

OverviewYour locally owned and operated Mitre 10 Mega Tauranga is looking for a new Kitchen Designer as part of our Kitchen Team.This position is covering a maternity leave and will be offered as a fixed-term contract for 12 months, starting in Mid-October.

It's a full-time role, working 40 hours per week from Tuesday to Saturday, with rostered hours of 9 : 00am to 5 : 30pm each day.This role will combine your excellent customer service skills, with your flair for design, as you work alongside customers to help bring their projects to life.

You will work closely with each customer at every stage of the process, from drafting CAD designs, placing and processing orders, monitoring progress and installation, and following up at completion to ensure customer satisfaction.

QualificationsA confident, friendly approach when dealing with internal and external customers.A high level of accuracy in all areas of work.Intermediate to advanced computer literacy skills.The physical capability to manage the manual handling requirements of the role.Previous experience in a similar design role would be an advantage.The ability to work well under pressure.Can work well within a team and independently.
