Job Description

As a Senior Associate Civil Structural Engineer in our New Zealand business, you will lead the successful delivery of technically complex structural projects across New Zealand.

What You’ll Do

• Act as lead project engineer and provide technical expertise and advice through all stages of the project lifecycle relating to building structures and civil infrastructures.
• Assist Regional Lead with business development in the civil structure space, focusing on the Wellington region.
• Establish, lead and develop a team of civil structural engineers, providing technical advice and direction to all employee levels.
• Assist with projects of scale and complexity across Australia and New Zealand.
• Contribute to the training and development of junior engineers and project resources.
• Act as project liaison, monitor project progress and provide project status reports to clients.
• Develop and maintain positive client relationships to ensure ongoing satisfaction and service delivery.
• Financially manage projects by monitoring actual time and cost against the budget, informing clients of any changes in scope or other variances.
