Job descriptionCheck products for correct shapes, dimensions and other specifications Clean and lubricate machinery and equipment Cut, bend, roll, ream, punch, drill, weld or otherwise shape and form metal stock into parts or products Investigate problems to fix or make minor repair Lay out, set up and operate one or more light or heavy metalworking machines Operate machines or equipment which weld, solder, bolt, screw or rivet metal parts together Operate presses or other forging machines to perform hot or cold forging to shape or form metal Read and interpret specifications or follow verbal instructions Select and transport material to work area manually or using crane or hoist Place stock on shelves Drills Power presses Punch presses Saws Soldering or welding equipment Use computer numerical control (CNC) machines Pressing machine Cutting machine Forming Punching Own transportation Fast-paced environment Standing for extended periods Work under pressure Up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs) Safety glasses / goggles Steel-toed safety boots Flexibility Organized Team player Disability benefits Paramedical services coverage Life insurance Registered Retirement Savings Plan (RRSP) Free parking available Learning / training paid by employer Travel insurance a permanent resident of Canada a temporary resident of Canada with a valid work permit

- Salary 22.50 to 25.00 hourly (To be negotiated) / 40 hours per week
