This is an exciting opportunity for a specialist with a passion for paediatric imaging to work in a collaborative environment with other healthcare professionals in a well-established, fully integrated team.As a Paediatric Radiologist, you will : provide expert paediatric radiology services across a wide range of imaging modalities, including X-ray, ultrasound, CT, MRI, and nuclear medicineinterpret imaging studies for paediatric patients, from neonates to adolescentswork closely with Paediatricians, Neonatologists, Surgeons, and other medical professionals to provide comprehensive, family-centred carecontribute to the training and mentoring of junior medical staff and Registrarsparticipate in multidisciplinary team meetings and radiology reviewsensure high standards of care, quality control, and safety in imaging procedures for childrenparticipate in the 1 : 6 on-call roster to cover acute general paediatrics, and a range of out-patient services covering all modalities across the department.About youTo be considered for this role, you will need to meet the following criteria : Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists (FRANZCR) or equivalentSignificant experience and expertise in paediatric radiologyA strong commitment to high-quality patient care and a compassionate approach to paediatric patientsExcellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary teamAn interest in teaching and mentoring Radiology RegistrarsA positive, proactive approach to clinical challenges and continuous professional developmentWhy Dunedin Hospital?
