Carpenters

We are looking for experienced Carpenters to join our friendly and supportive team.

The role is based in Auckland with a requirement to work on our projects in Northland, Waikato, Bay of Plenty, Gisborne, Taranaki, Hawkes Bay, Manawatu-Wanganui, Wellington, Nelson, Marlborough, Tasman, Westcoast, Southland and Otago.You will be skilled in interpreting drawings, producing high quality work, selecting suitable timber and other materials, minimising waste, working safely and efficiently, and meeting quality standards.

Some of your duties will be to provide basic carpentry services : installing, repairing, and building items, assisting other skilled trades, and ensuring that tools and materials are available at the job site.

This is a permanent, full-time position with a guaranteed 30 hours per week.

Hourly rate ranges from $29 to $35, depending on skills and experience.

A successful candidate will :

3+ years' relevant and verifiable experience in the building / construction industry

Clean NZ drivers' licence with RTW endorsement would be advantageous

Valid Site Safety card

No criminal history

Have an eye for detail, well organised, depict accuracy in their work

Have a mathematical approach to problem solving

Be able to proactively identify problems

Be trained in the safe and efficient use of relevant power tools

Be able to use levelling / measuring equipment

Have a positive attitude to safety and quality.
