Sector : Client Delivery, Defence, Engineering Type : PermanentContact : Nick Taylor Job Published : 2 days agoRole : Solution ArchitectOur client, an established aerospace & defence manufacturing firm in Christchurch, requires an experienced Solution Architect to join their multi-disciplined team.Please note candidates would need to be eligible to obtain UK SC Clearance and have 5+ years' residency in the UK.ResponsibilitiesDesigning overall military digital defence solutions that meet our customer and end-user needsCollaboration with bidding, sales and 3rd parties to propose solutions that are innovative, competitive, achievable and value for moneyDocumenting high and low-level designs that align with customer requirementsWriting compelling technical proposals to support bids and pre-salesPresenting solutions and ability to influence customer strategies and requirementsHorizon scanning of current and emerging technologies trends and innovationsQualificationsExperience working within Defence / AerospaceA track record of successfully defining and delivering customer solutionsExperience of working with account / business development teamsYou will primarily bring technical expertise, creative thinking and domain knowledge to the Solution Architect role and your skills will include : Deep technical understanding in digital technologies and integration strategies with military platformsStrong natural ability to problem solve, research and make sound decisions in a timely mannerDomain knowledge of military projects and programmesFamiliarity with UK MOD and NATO StandardsCommercial awareness and business acumen to achieve successful and profitable value for money solutionsExcellent team player, with strong written and verbal communication skillsThis really is a fantastic opportunity for a Solution Architect to progress their career.
