## About this role
As a Casual Community Work Supervisor, you will oversee and manage people serving community work sentences while they work on meaningful projects at schools, reserves, community groups, marae, and churches - whatever the community needs.Our Community Work Supervisors are responsible for the supervision of work parties, planning and organising projects, the development of work skills through pro-social modelling and coaching, ensuring records are accurate and complete, reviewing health and safety requirements, and ensuring the smooth operation of the community work centre.This is an exciting opportunity to make a difference in your community.
Community work provides a platform for people serving community work sentences to gain new skills while giving back to community at the same time.This is a casual on-call position so a willingness to work at short notice is required.
The role is based in Dunedin and possible days of work are on Wednesdays and Saturdays between the hours of 8.00am – 5.00pm.
