Your role includes medication management and ensuring tangata whaiora well-being through practical support.
You'll be part of a supportive team with a caring manager and access to an on-call manager during rostered hours.
Strong computer skills are essential for recording notes and handover information.Your role involves coaching, mentoring, and encouraging participation in day programmes, goal setting, and fostering connections with whanau and the wider community.
Daily tasks will vary based on individual needs, ensuring tailored and meaningful support.This is a permanent full-time position based in Lower Hutt.About You | He korero mou : If you're passionate about youth and want to make a real impact, this is your chance.
You'll need to quickly build genuine relationships with Rangatahi, who may stay with us for just a few days.
You're great at spotting changes in behaviour and staying calm under pressure.You'll help create a safe, nurturing environment where Rangatahi can feel supported and cared for.
A strong cultural competency is vital in this role, and you'll need to contribute to a safe and positive workplace.A full New Zealand driver's license is required for this position.The successful candidate will have aLevel 4 Certificate in Health and Wellbeing(or equivalent qualification).
