About the role
We are currently looking for a Graduate Civil / Structural Engineer to join our Wellington office.
You will deliver high-quality engineering and will be part of the technical leadership team of Lines Engineering in Asia Pacific.
As a graduate engineer, you will support the design, implementation, and maintenance of transmission line projects.
Tasks include technical support, troubleshooting and networking within the industry.
Key Responsibilities
Supporting the end-to-end design of Transmission Lines including modelling, design of structures, and foundations.
Concept and Detailed Design of Transmission Lines using PLS-CADD software.
Modelling of structures using PLS-TOWER, PLS-POLE.
Foundation designs – varying from normal concrete foundations to pile foundations.
Site visits and inspections as required.
Assisting with the preparation of proposals.
What You'll Bring
Bachelor Degree in Civil or Structural engineering (or equivalent).
1-2 years of transmission experience beneficial but not necessary.
Proficiency in PLS software (PLS-CADD, TOWER, and POLE) beneficial.
Familiarity with Australian and international codes and standards relevant to transmission infrastructure (e.g., AS / NZS
Strong analytical, coordination, and communication skills, with a focus on quality and delivery.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Self-motivated and keen to progress career.
