About the role | He Aha Te Tūranga
This role drives strategic and commercial engagement with key business partners and advisers, fostering relationships and leading growth initiatives. It requires strong sales acumen, experience in leading sales teams, strategic thinking, and effective internal and external stakeholder management to drive a positive culture of accelerated business performance.
Support the Head of Adviser, Life & Health by developing and executing sales plans and tactics
Lead and manage adviser-facing teams to achieve sales and growth targets
Drive uplift in adviser capability through structured training and strategic communication initiatives
Champion improvements in the adviser and member journey through feedback and insights to shape strategy, influence decision-making, and enhance cross-functional alignment.
Act as the key point of contact for advisers, supporting client acquisition, advice processes, and resolving adviser and client concerns
Manage and strengthen key business relationships with corporate, franchise, and dealer group heads through proactive engagement
Deliver regular, data-driven reporting to inform decisions, track performance, and guide strategic direction.
About you | Ko Wai Koe
You are a strategic, commercially minded leader with strong sales skills and a track record of building high-value relationships. Experienced in developing strategic plans and delivering against targets, you thrive in fast-paced environments. You bring solid knowledge of financial services regulations, risk management, and compliance, and communicate complex ideas clearly and confidently.
Relevant degree qualification in a related discipline and / or equivalent industry experience
Demonstrated ability to develop and implement strategic plans
Exceptional at forging and maintaining strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
High level of risk management and sales management skills
Effective understanding of relevant legislation and standards relevant to risk management, compliance and business continuity management
Strong understanding of legislative and regulatory frameworks and requirements relevant to financial services
