Smith And SmithNZ Support Office & DCThe Opportunity :
Reporting to the Senior Legal Counsel and working as part of an in-house global legal team, the Corporate Legal Counsel provides comprehensive legal advice on a wide range of commercial matters, helping to maximise business opportunities and protect the group and its people. This role plays a crucial part in safeguarding the company’s legal interests and supporting informed decision-making across the organisation. This includes :
- Assisting the Senior Legal Counsel to provide exceptional legal services to all of the Australasian business units.
- Provide advice on areas such as contract, commercial, property and compliance for both New Zealand and Australia.
- Drafting and reviewing contracts, privacy, marketing, evaluating the impact of new legislation, and advising on statutory compliance in both Australia and NZ.
This role is based at our Belron NZ Support Office (1 Carmont Place, Mount Wellington, Auckland 1060), 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
