If you are an experienced Veterinarian looking for a part-time opportunity in the Wellington region – look no further!

We are looking for an Experienced Small Animal Vet to join our awesome team at PetVet Silverstream - with flexibility for a 2 or 3 day week.

This GP Vet role offers a great balance of consults and surgery with scope to pursue a wide range of special interests. If you are particularly passionate about Medicine, or have a love of exotics especially reptiles and / or birds that would be an added bonus!

About the clinic & role

PetVet Silverstream are a gold standard clinic, situated in a lovely part of the Hutt Valley.

Multi-Vet Team – you’ll join 5 other vets whose experience ranges from 1 year – 30 years!

Experienced nurses - Our nurses perform nurse consultations, supporting vets in several different ways to improve patient care

We have lots of fantastic equipment including in-house REM systems blood machines, multi-parameter anaesthesia monitoring including ECG and blood pressure monitoring via oscillometric and Doppler, digital xray, dental xray, high-quality GE ultrasound machine

Your new workplace is a purpose-built hospital with sterile surgery theatre plus an additional theatre for dentals, enemas etc

The ideal addition to our team will be an experienced Small Animal Vet with at least 4 years' experience as a GP Small Animal Vet. Confident in consults and routine surgery.

BVSc qualified (or equivalent) and registered to practice in New Zealand.
