Job description

Complete Reinforcing , part of the NZ owned Euro Corporation Group, is involved in some of New Zealand's biggest infrastructure projects and is a market leader in the manufacturing, supply, fabrication and installation of structural steel reinforcing.

We are currently hiring a Detailer for our Auckland location. Your job will be to provide accurate estimation and detailing, meeting customer demands, requirements and ensuring quality standards and deadlines are met. You will be required to support the construction and infrastructure projects for the business.

About the Role

Perform routine and complex detailing & estimating activity accurately to meet agreed timeframes

Detail projects and provide supporting documentation accurately and within agreed timeframes.

Maintain and review projects to ensure all information is correct and all variations are identified and costed in a timely and accurate manner.

Manage cost by analysing labour, time and material requirements

Procurement and delivery of orders within managed timeframes

Coordinate with staff and ability to resolve any detailing and estimating issues

Work closely with the Project Manager, site staff and external parties

Maintain costs to complete each project and escalate any variations efficiently

Provide guidance and leadership to other detailers in the team as required

About You

Qualification in Civil Engineering and / or Construction / Mechanical Trade Certification preferred

Minimum 3 Years’ experience in working for large construction and infrastructure projects

Proven understanding of best practice for concrete and reinforcement placement

Be an effective communicator and a true problem solver with great negotiation skills

Take accountability and ownership of the role

Good understanding of Health and Safety Work practices and regulations.

Be a good decision maker, be agile and professionally competent

Customer Focus with an eye for continuous improvement
