About the Role
Wairoa Ngā Harakeke mai Rongokako – Child & Adolescent Family Services is currently seeking a dedicated registered professional with both experience and a passion for assisting tamariki and rangatahi facing mental health and addiction challenges.
We can offer you an exciting opportunity that will have you working closely with our interdisciplinary team of psychiatrists, nurses, psychologists, social workers, occupational therapists, Dietitian, Alcohol and Drug Clinician along with our awesome support staff of Kaiawhina, community support workers and administrators
About the Team / Service / Location
This role is pivotal, involving the provision of care to young people and their whanau in the rural Wairoa community who are most severely affected by mental illness and / or addiction. We provide assessment and treatment for children and adolescents with moderate to severe mental health problems our service extends to the culturally appropriate delivery of care to Maori and Pacific peoples. Wairoa is a rural town, set against a backdrop of natural beauty that rivals any in New Zealand. Its location is central to both Hawke's Bay and Gisborne. With stunning beaches, rivers, lakes and farmland surrounding the township.
