The Rotorua team is experienced, motivated, and passionate about protecting their communities, engaging with industries such as manufacturing, construction, agriculture, and forestry across the Bay of Plenty and Waikato regions.About the roleYou start as a Trainee Health and Safety Inspector, progressing through training and on-the-job experience until you obtain a Certificate of Appointment.
The role involves site visits, assessments, report compilation, and investigation of incidents.
You may be exposed to traumatic events and need strong communication skills, cultural awareness, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
A natural rapport builder and problem solver will excel here.Successful candidates will have the chance to do a ride-along to experience a day in the life of an Inspector.

Salary range : Starting at $76,089, increasing to $82,990 upon qualification.
